Its a nice concept author but it lacks of preparation & presentation.
Since you came up with this you should find a glass bottle to place the oil inside(plastic looks "cheap".All so you shouldn't fire the flash "straight" towards the bottle because you have some "hot spots" on the bottle which is quite distracting! If you don't have an external flash you can try this...(i did it when i didn't own an external flash).
You can direct the flash from your camera (build in) using small f (f.e f3 or f4) plumbers tubes .All you need is i straight piece & 1 or 2 corners & you can direct the light right/left/above/behind your composition!
That worked for me back then.
Just an idea to improve your lighting next time.
