idon't know if the hand is allowed, but..if i might offer advice...clean out under the nails before taking a picture like this. i have a horrible pet peeve against dirty nails. :P ruins a great shot for me.

It appears your photo may be a hint out of focus but I like this fortune. Just a suggestion, but why not re- shoot and put a hard light on the cookie to draw a long shadow, so this way the fortune refers back to the shadow made by the cookie? GL all the same

thanks jawsh! i tried every possible thing to make this clear, but my coolpix nikon just doesn't cut the deal lol..plus i already ate the crumbs ..i was hungry! lol

Your focus seems more on the table (which is against the contest rules) than the fortune. It's slightly out of focus and the table is a lot more in focus. I sure it's a result of auto focus taking over and getting the table as it's main focus. I'm not sure if you can re-shoot or not but I would recommend it.

I can't take it again unfortunately because it was taken a while back with a cellphone. Thats why its not the best photo, but I thought it was a unique fortune so I put it up. I'll try cropping but it will be still be the same image.
