We have a pair of bald eagles that live near us, and I've seen them 100 times. But it doesn't matter. Every time I see them my heart starts beating a little faster. They are pretty cool!

Well this was the first time I had ever seen any flying out in the open (odd as much of an avid outdoors person I am). So I was super stoked just seeing the pair.

I don't think it matters how often or how little you see them they are so amazing and impressive especially in flight; they take your breath away!

You should come to BC, Canada during salmon spawning season .. there are hundreds of them! But there is nothing like the first shot of something as impressive as these incredible birds!. It is truly a special image!

I know how you feel about the 300mm... it's great for landscapes but some stuff just ever turns out clear! I love this shot though even if it is as you described it

Definitely an ahhhh picture. He does have a determined look about him! Those Chihuahuas can be very tenacious!

oh ya'll would have loved it!!! He did so many things with different sized cube thingys and the lights that reflected off (giving it that blueish look) were soooo cool!

Awe inspiring! Fascinating image and a great memory! And so very, very Vegas (everything feels a little blurry in Vegas after a couple of days)
