sorry author, but imo, there is now too much hdr on this site........... I am not a great fan of it, and when I see what should be a simple pic with hdr applied, it makes me think the pic was not so good in the first place, and the hdr is hiding it.
much better...........this pic did not need hdr.....

HDRs are a lot better in a posed setting, using a tripod and shooting still life subject material and this is more action, terrible choice for HDR. I didn't see the original but something tells me it was probably way overcooked.

This was taken at a aquarium store in Sacramento. I asked for permission first of course. I did not use flash, as it bothers the fish, not to mention you get the reflection of it in the glass. I chose this angle because of the reflection, thought it looked cool. (5 years and 3288 days ago)
Koi just filled the pond below the waterfalls at the park; I loved the spiral stems of the plants, and the shapes of all the stones at the bottom. (5 years and 3283 days ago)
