Really Crystle? Yet another one of your comments that is strictly critical and offers no element of value or constructive criticism. If you cannot assist the author with advice on making the photo quality better, then don't say anything at all. Didn't your mother ever teach you that if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything?

I am new to this photography stuff so I don't have lots to offer as far as advice goes. I am sure that some of the others will offer some more technical advice.

I must agree with crystleclear, the picture just is a bit out of focus. As far as constructive criticism for this point, just take the shot again, perhaps with a tripod to keep the camera completely steady.

As far as lighting, the picture is too dark; it could use stronger lighting. The angle of the light is excellent though, and I love the coloured shadows. The object itself is just lost to darkness and blur.

ummm... these are nice, but having two entries exactly alike isn't allowed as it compromises anonymity. You should either red-flag yourself and ask them to remove one (which would reduce your entry limit by one for this contest), or go to "edit entries" and upload a different shot. GL

As much as I agree with you Kyricom, the "Entering similar Entries" rule has disappeared.

See if you can find it because I could not and the author is going to think we're liars.

Look at it this way, author. By entering more diverse photos, it shows more creativity in a contest and the best reason the rule was implemented to begin with.,...

I agree though! It's more fun when people can't tell which photos go with which author! Try taking a picture of just one piece of jewlry. Like your one favorite necklace or ring or pair of earings. So that the main focus will be on one thing and can stand out more! Hope to be of some help. GL

I agree with Mark and Josh but there's actually three entries that are clearly yours....You just have to be a little more sure of the image your wanting to show (with three entries so similar it just seems indecisive) Be confident! You have great pictures GL
