Photograph a situation in which a normal object or objects looks huge compared to the surroundings. The item(s) you photograph may not already be over-sized. The situation itself must look natural and the surrounding must interact with the over-sized looking object(s).
Example: make a person stand on a pile of books by photographing the books closeby and the person far away so it looks that the person is small and standing on top of the books.
Required level: 10+ or higher. Status: finished. Check out the winners below!

EmiK: I think it's called forced perspective, except this contest is only for making things look bigger, I know what you mean robvdn. = ) ( 5 years and 3243 days ago )

Contest Moderator: Thank you for the link EmiK...and yes technically it's called forced perspective if you want to research the topic further... ( 5 years and 3240 days ago )
UncleJimmy: for those of you having trouble getting both object in focus, here is a link that explains hyperfocal distance, or the "trick" of getting nearly everything in the photo into acceptable focus:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperfocal_distance ( 5 years and 3240 days ago )
MnMCarta: ok so most of that was completely greek to me but I got that they need to be a good distance from the camera for it to work... I think. Gonna try something hopefully today or tomorrow. ( 5 years and 3238 days ago )
MnMCarta: oh and Thank you for the link ( 5 years and 3238 days ago )

The best shot in this contest in my opinion as it really "tells a story", the composition is creative, the swimming girl is very expressive, the swimming pool is huge, the final result is remarkable!
Beg to differ with you creativefreedom....but, this shot WAS NOT used in the Photo Effects contest, therefore it is good...a similar technique and style was used but not this shot.
Dimensions are perfectly adjusted. AT first sight the two cars seem equal. The lack of shadow of the "cabrio" reveals the trick. Bravissimo! Well done!

You mean, the fact that the hand holding the other car wasn't obvious enough, Cocor?
Very cool!
