too much lighting, it kind of bothers me trying to look at the detailed texture on the coin. but other then that, it looks good.

Thanks for the comments. Friiskiwi i call it old coz that coin is out of circulaition. Robertofanfan to be honest with you i am not a Photographer, i'm using simple canon dslr camera with cheapest lens and for the lightening i usually use some torch or any source of lighting that i can find at my home. As you see it's not alot . And by the way i love this picture
not too much lighting at all, just wrongly used..............the light level is fine, just the position of it. it is difficult when shooting something this size, to be able to get the light in the right position without shadow and blow outs...........keep practicing, you'll get it............ a ring light will help...........

Thanks ade . The plan was to shot that coin in a red background and to make very dark shadow around the edges of the picture. But as you see i could only manage to do that on the top. I need much more practising. Thanks again.
A Great-Aunt found this in a junk shop in a blackened condition. She polished it up & eventually we inherited it. I think it must have originated in India during the British Raj (1857-1947). It's either a soup turren or a punch bowl. (5 years and 3240 days ago)
Nice find, and it can still be used.
