Do you have something lingering in your home or office that may be as old as dirt, that still has its beauty and a great story to tell?

Well, here's your chance to take a photo of something that is old, may it be your great grandmother's tea pot, your great uncle's hunting rifle, or even an antique piece of furniture.

Make sure your photo has a story behind it, a description would be lovely! Now go on and show us your best old fashioned possessions!

"Do you have something lingering in your home or office "
I'm not trying to be difficult, just looking for clarification, I have had so many photos removed. ( 5 years and 3268 days ago )
locksmagic: Again, how exactly are we supposed to verify that it is actually yours?! Are we expecting you to take pictures of your own stuff? Sure, but if you want to take a picture of someone else's stuff and claim it as your own then I suppose you can get away with it this time. ( 5 years and 3267 days ago )

This is my 1960's Bogen Enlarger... I still use this enlarger for turning my 35mm and 120mm film negatives into stunning Black and White Prints! Before the days of digital camera's and digital image manipulation...this was the beast that was the heart and soul of the darkroom. Points for those of you who knew what this was right off the bat, BONUS points to any of you who have ever used/ still use one of these! (5 years and 3271 days ago)

Staying in a little shack in Africa, electricity was not readily available, so this oil lamp was a necessity for lighting the rooms at night. Perhaps not such an irrelevance in today's world in the developing countries but in modern areas oil lamps are certainly old school. (5 years and 3265 days ago)
