How do you know he's mute?
According to Wiki: The Mute Swan is a species of swan. The name 'mute' derives from it being less vocal than other swan species.

@cocor: the photo was taken in a nursery-aviary. Those owls were trained to fly side to side of a patio, they eat on trainer's hand and we can take pictures beside them.
