I don't know if it's the official name or not, but my kids called them "kush" (coosh) balls

But is it a children's toy? I mean, this is usually one of those things that sits on a CEO's desk and it relaxing to adults. Not really children.

Well this was given to my son when he was 6 years old...but I guess CEO's like it too....I did get it in the toy department.

My daughter has one too.. she loves it.!

Its a kids toy...all my kids had one of these.

my kids each have one of these in their fav color. walmart sells them in kids toys section for a steal of a price they are fun for us adult too for sure!
