I thought as much, I think this is a very cool creative idea. The only thing I might have done different is to change the angle just a tad to hide the reflection of the candle in the mirror, unless you wanted it that way, and if so, forget what I just said = )

I don't see a candle light. That in the background can be everything.

well. it is a candle. i just liked how the candle lit the oil. having the candle in the picture was distracting and took away from the overall composition of the picture.

The theme doesn't specify the candle be in the shot... just that it be lit by candle light. I don't see any problem with being on theme. It's a nice shot
