I took this shot in October. It was the first week I started shooting in manual modes.
Oh, how I can't wait for warm weather again. Sissy dog too! (5 years and 3251 days ago)
i don't think the why of the photo is all that important. i love shots of urban decay, and even though this isn't a full on "decay" it does show alot of age. i like the color tones you chose to go with.. and most of all, i find the conduit paths to be really quite pleasing to the eye. it makes you follow it around the entire image.
after the contest, for future processing where photoshop filters and stuff are allowed, i'd consider doing a dramatic vignette and some heavy contrast on it. it would give it a really creepy feel.

I suppose it means more to me because I know the area that it was taken, an old rusted faling down building and this was just a weird random set of electronic switches, it creates an atmosphere when I look at it. Sorry you don't like it.
I'm sorry to, just trying to be honest, you have so many wonderful photos that I love, so don't feel insulted. It was only my opinion, and there are lots of great paintings I don't like or understand either.
I find this artistique, cause of the Square format in which you see other rectangular patterns of different proportions and all having a relation with the other elements around. There was an artist using mate colors and this principle- his name escapes me know.
D'apres moi this shot makes sense beyond the urban decay theme, because of what i previously stated and it would make sense even if it was an abstract drawing.
