No, it is a corridor, with rooms off it on either side, not very wide, and at the end it does a right turn into the rest of the house.

Great shot, but it looks like your picture is leaning slightly to the right. I'd rotate it so that picture lays "flat" and the entryway is perfectly vertical. Good luck!
