Technology is simply something that makes a job easier than it would be without its use. For example, computers make computations and writing easier, but we could still do those things if computers had never been invented.
Show us an artistic shot of your top choice for your candidate of what the number one, most useful, NON-ELECTRONIC piece of technology is. Whether hand-held, or hand manipulated, your choice can not have any source of energy or power other than human muscle. In your description, tell us why you think this item is THE most important human invention.
Mikaelbg: Not an easy one, does my tv remote count? lol ( 5 years and 3168 days ago )
jawshoewhah: Not unless your remote runs on natural gas ( 5 years and 3168 days ago )
kyricom: MUSCLE powered ( 5 years and 3168 days ago )
karaflazz: Great suggestions kyricom. ( 5 years and 3168 days ago )
kyricom: Thanks, Dimitris! ( 5 years and 3166 days ago )
kyricom: ummmm... a few of these I'm having a hard time seeing as "the number one, most useful piece of technology." but, maybe it's just me ( 5 years and 3165 days ago )
locksmagic: You make a good point Mark and I agree, but unfortunately without a definitive list of the most important items it becomes very subjective. One could argue that they think it is the most important and how can you argue with someones opinion? You said it was their top choice so telling them they are wrong is kinda not an option. kyricom: Generally, you'e right. People could possibly make legitimate arguments on some.... BUT, there are some others that just make you shake your head. ( 5 years and 3160 days ago )
Nadhym: I thought of toilet bowls. It was the invention of last century. ( 5 years and 3160 days ago )
locksmagic: Lol there are several that make me shake my head ( 5 years and 3159 days ago )

Using a simple mirror in the opposite direction of the flash works like a "fill light".
That way you have a beautiful " soft " light ,lighting the darker parts of your composition so there is a balance between darker & lighter areas!
Just think if we didn't have an eraser and couldn't change our first choice. How would we correct our daily crossword puzzle, redo our algebra equation, make changes to our multiple choice test or finalize our numbers on the mega lottery card. (5 years and 3160 days ago)
Great image -- nice framing and lighting
Very well done
Wow, this is just so superior to just about anything else we have seen.
