Every good photographer should know a few things about 'the rule of thirds'. This contest requires that you show your knowledge about it, in the best way possible.
For the ones who are not familiar with it, in this tutorial you can find out more. Anything and everything allowed in the picture, as long as it follows this rule.

btw.. by looking through the photos already submitted, looks to me like people are just throwing pictures in the contest for the heck of it, i only see certain photos which apply to this rule, i apply my photos to this rule most of the time, not all- but im glad this contest is on! my screen was set in grid form for days now lol! As rules are meant to be broke.
It can be seen everywhere. From television to architecture. It intrigues the subconscious mind. Color and angles should apply to this rule as well. IMO ( 5 years and 3080 days ago )
