It's a bit bright don't you think?? Last time I check, pure hues were quite bright. Don't get me wrong, I'm in love with this photo, in total envy of you for capturing this beautiful moment, but I don't think it is appropriate for this contest.

The clouds are quite dark against the bright orange sky. The orange color and tones are from wild fires in the area. And the brightness is from the sun behind the clouds.
I think it is appropriate for this contest but if you don't, feel free to red flag it and let the mods decide.

There seems to be more than tops of trees on the left.

I actually cropped out a top of a 2-story house that was on the bottom right. This tree is about 50 feet tall so I don't know what you could be seeing other than sky/clouds. I just looked at the enlarged hi-res and do not see anything there.
