This was taken just outside of Silverton, Colorado on Red Mountain Pass. There is a crazy frozen river running through an old mine shaft on the north side of the pass. (5 years and 3117 days ago)

Nice piece of ice, great lighting, but where is the liquid?

The liquid is just under the ice; actually that is why there is a reflection If you look closely, you will see that the reflection is a bit deformed, which means that there's a liquid (water)
Rally beautiful, when I see photos like this, I'm almost sorry I live in a place with no snow.
