What happens if you drop milk into water? Or paint, dye, grease... Right, they form flows of 2 (or more) different colored liquids mixing up. This contest is about photographing these flows. You can find an example here. We can find better angles, colors and liquids to mix up and produce some awesome looking photos. Have fun!

Yes... I have two pieces of glass that are painted on the back... one white and one black. I figure out where the drop will land and then place a small amount of milk (in this case) at that spot. I focus on the closer side of the milk and let it happen. Settings: 2 flashes bouncing off white board set at 1/32, f20 or so, 1/100 speed. 100mm L macro lens.
This is a cool shot Author. Things like this, a simple thing can make such a nice capture and IMO it would be good for a chop contest. I get a bunch of ideas at first glance.
Example, it would have worked well in the space scene contest.
