You need to decide which one you want to leave. It is the same pic, you just rotated and cropped. Not allowed to use the same shot.

I don't need to do anything of the sort they are different photos. I have about 8 of the same scene. They are the same size so how do you think i managed to rotate the picture that much and not loose half the size??????????

Look at the clouds above the dome or spire on both photo's they are different.

I don't see it anymore, but there used to be a rule about not submitting two photos of basically the same shot/subject unless it is substantially different.

oh....and obviously captgeo must know what he's talking about since he is a moderator here and could probably decide for you which one to keep if you won't

They are different photos, That are both within the themes and brief. So i don't Know what the problem is.

To me they are far too similar, but I can make my decision with my vote.

@k5683....Just because I am a mod doesn't make me always correct. They are in fact different photos based on the clouds. HOWEVER, they were taken within seconds of each other and are very similar.

to clarify this discussion author: this has to do with anonymity. Your photo's (of which one has been removed already) look too much alike which mean if someone votes on either one of your entries the other entry is not anonymous anymore and is therefor not allowed. K5683 refers to an old, double, rule which has been removed because it was covered by the, mentioned before, anonymity rule we have.

This may sound unfair but the anonymity is an important factor on this site. That's why mods also remove for instance entries from members which use a model which has been overused by that member and is recognizable by other member by now. In such a case the author isn't anonymous anymore either.

I actually followed the MODs advice and changed the photo. And thanked him for explaining things to me.

So shall i send all my photo's to you so you can tell me what contest they should go in? I would really appreciate it if you didn't post anything about my photos, Your comments are not welcome. good or bad. AND NOT HELPFULL.

Author, if you don't wish to have comments posted on your entry then check the box when you upload it. A lot of members don't vote until the voting days but do comment during the week to try and give advice. When doing this they will not know who the author is. Telling "certain" members not to comment on your entries is not an option here, so take it or leave (you can't have it both ways). K5683 was trying to be helpful, you are just being rude.

A friend who's child is also in the photo took over my camera and tripod i had set up, so really it's not exactly my photo but it was my camera set up when i was taking photos of the kids.
