TankRed: may I ask if using hand holding a lens on an attached lens is allowed (reverse lens macro technique) ( 5 years and 3150 days ago )
UncleJimmy: I would think not TankRed, the idea is to have the lens completely removed from the camera. that would be an entirely different technique. ( 5 years and 3149 days ago )

k5683: I can't seem to get this! wow it is harder than it looks. Somehow when I tilt the lens, I get a black circle showing

k5683: thanks. I tried both my 18-55 mm and my 200mm. When I put it in front of the camera, it didn't seem to make any difference at all, even when I tilted it ever so slightly. Oh well, I don't see myself doing this anyway so I really don't need the practice I guess. ( 5 years and 3144 days ago )

great image -- not sure i would get something this nice with the lenas attached -- like the overall effect not sure it is light leaking or just the softness of the focus
