ok for my setup I had a white backdrop and two strobes facing it on either side at an angle from the left and right. I had one light I was bouncing off the ceiling or it was at the tank somewhat... can't remember this shoot exactly but anyway I filled the tank up about a half way or a little less and held the duckie under water and focused and then used my wireless remote to snap the shot. After I focused on the ducks I let go really fast of the duckie on the right and hoped for the best. It took a few shots but this one turned out so cute I thought. It also took longer to take shots because I would wipe down the glass each take so there wasn't any unwanted drops in the shot. There was a place I thought was a drop out of place but it turned out that it was dried up on my lens cause I had some pretty wild splashs from earlier and didn't notice it (which I'm known for not noticing stuff right away) but anyway I took that one out cause it was part of the rules like dust on the lens kinda stuff. The only corrections I made were cropping, rotating and contrast, and some levels. That's it. Promise ya'll
So now with that said... I will be taking donations for my hard work. Benjamins only please...lol

oh and make sure your table with the tank is at a pretty good distance from the white background. I find it works best that way. Not sure why cause I'm no techy when it comes to this stuff but I know what I did and what I like.
I dont do sbs's cause they are not requieed for photos but i did explain it above. If i do a shoot lije this again i will try to remember to take shots of the setup for you.

A present the cat brought in, subjected to the compost bin. I think it was a starling once upon a time, photographed on a glass sheet on an black cloth. (5 years and 3068 days ago)
Awesome job here. You lit this perfectly and your timing was spot on! I am impressed.
Thank you I still have some sharpening to do that I missed. After a few drinks and editing my eyes get kinda crossed. lol
What do you plan on sharpening?
I want to lower the sharpness on the right duck and raise it on the left
LMAO did you really just tell a mod that you plan on selectively editing your photo?
The funny thing is after i did that i realized this one has to stay. Lol. I did laugh out loud at that one. Hehehe. . I will be good.
