for rent - created by dekwid. Picture

Winning entry, with a score of:
72.7%
Contest goal:

Let's show the choppers that some things don't need Photoshop and can be set-up and done 'in camera' with the right amount of preparation and dedication...

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is this: find any entry by your favorite PxlEyes "Chopper" and duplicate it as closely as possible with a photograph! The only photoshopping allowed to the entry is according to standard photography guidelines, with the exception of creating the diptych...

Heathcliffe: Sorry for being 'slow' - do you mean find a typical photoshop entry and try find a situation really similar to photograph ? ( 5 years and 3000 days ago )
Contest Moderator: Yes Heathcliffe: find an entry by one of the choppers here on the site, and, duplicate the entry (old) as closely as possible with a photo...then put the both 'shots' in a single entry (diptych) ( 5 years and 2999 days ago )
Friend: Is multiple exposure allowed? ( 5 years and 2999 days ago )
Contest Moderator: Friend: What do you mean by 'multiple exposure'? ( 5 years and 2997 days ago )
Derivatix: multiple exposure means two or more shots in the same frame. I do that sometimes if I want something to look transparent without using photoshop. Just klick the shutter on a bottle for example and then remove the bottle und klick the shutter again. In one image, of course, not an overlay of two images. On film it was easy, just not transport the film. Digital Cams can do that too, nowadays. At least the better ones. ( 5 years and 2997 days ago )
captgeo: @ Derivatix.... really? Digital ones? Which ones? ( 5 years and 2997 days ago )
Friend: @captgeo: for example - mine K-r. ( 5 years and 2997 days ago )
Derivatix: my Nikon D300s can that and even my Nikon D80, which I just checked and surprised me. ( 5 years and 2996 days ago )
Contest Moderator: If something can be done "in camera", then according to the site rules for photography, it is permitted...but, if there is a question as to whether or not is a 'photoshop' overlay, you must be prepared to provide the original file along with Exif info if requested. The Chop is on the left, my shot is on the right. I found out it's A LOT easier to get the contrast and focus of the inside screens right if you're chopping! But at least I got five levels! :-)

My thanks go to the original author, but I won't mention his name right now as it's an entry in a contest that's still going.
