We've done 'breaking' contests before, now it is time for you to take out the glue, strings, spit, sticky tape and whatever more you can think of to fix a broken object in a way an amateur would do it. This means that the object must clearly be broken and also the way it is fixed must also be clearly visible. Any attempts to fix the object in a professional manner will be considered of theme. No humans and animals allowed.
Cool idea, but this photo is lacking a bit in the composition department. A couple of suggestions, there is no need to have the rest of the coat hanger in the shot, it is pretty clear what it is just by looking at what is attached to the glasses. Also try a different angle, something to better capture the viewers interest. For example, get down low with your camera (same level as the glasses) and have them turned slightly at an angle, get in close when you take the shot to get a low depth of field.

Everyone has had one pair of glasses that required a quick fix instead of purchasing new ones. I used scotch tape to show the break, but a waterproof bandaid works better. (5 years and 2976 days ago)
At first glance, I thought this was for the Photoshop sunglass contest...I couldn't quite figure it out with the tape, and then I read the description...lol! Fun photo, good setting with the sunblock bottle!

I broke these for the photo, but my wife won't miss them. Thanks for your comments.
I love the piece of tape on the back that covers a gap where there is no glass at all! This is a great "fix job!" Nice photo!
This is great!
Your mixture of scrap tape is a bit tacky.
My advise would be to use duct tape. And remeber to trim the edges. Thats the mark of a true craftsman. LOL
Kidding aside. The mixed tape makes the photo. Well done.
Nice Job Congrats on First Place Win!
