i have seen red,blue,green,black,orange and one with mixture of 2 or all of these colors... that too just in my back yard..lol... red is fastest and green is slowest and most co-operative...hehehe

A little too much excess space around the dragonfly. Since it is the focal point, and since it appears to be fairly tiny, I'd crop most of the excess off, to let the dragonfly be more dominant in the photo.

this picture seems a bit flat to me. Have you tried adjusting the brightness/contrast, the saturation and/or levels? It would be great if it weren't so dark.
