We would not stay alive very long if we didn't have anything to drink. Milk, soda, water, or booze - beverages are the stuff of life.
In this theme, your goal is to take a photo of your favorite beverage in an artistic manner. Show us what you enjoy drinking! Good luck.
Status: finished. Check out the winners below!

k5683: I really think there should be some modification on the theme description because many people are putting pictures of empty cups, empty bottles and such and not the beverage itself. The description says "your goal is to take a photo of your favorite beverage in an artistic manner. Show us what you enjoy drinking!" You enjoy drinking the liquid that was inside of the bottle or cup, right? You can't drink the cup; you can't drink the bottle. I really think there should be liquid in the photo...even just a little. Just my opinion. ( 5 years and 3080 days ago )
Contest Moderator: I will be a little "relaxed" when it comes to the entries. HOWEVER.... it must be obvious what the beverage is.... An empy coke bottle suggests .... coke, but an empty cup or glass with no reference will be considered off theme. ( 5 years and 3080 days ago )
k5683: yeah, I understand if it has the name on the bottle and we know what it is. ( 5 years and 3080 days ago )

I order a lighting system last month from e-bay.Finaly i have a decent tool to create some ideas i couldn't with my old flash unit.
This is a set up on my living rooms table. The background is a piece of white paper.
I use a strobe flash & i place in front of it 3 differend color filters. That way i achieved this colorful b/g.
A great fun image author. Possibly a little over exposed (I might be wrong but the whites look blown out on my monitor) and its a pity that the blue block wasn't clipped down properly as it is a little distracting. The third guy "marching" up the stairs cracks me up.
Awesome reflection. The colors in this are wonderful.
I love the way you used the lights and also the reflection!
great refraction, but I find the 'white' distracting.
This is so much better, stunning. well done.

So one strobe light or four? I have them color things that came with my setup but not sure how to use all the colors at once on one light.
Just one Amanda.I was holding the color filters with my hand in front of the light while flashing.

Very nice... I like the various lighting and the reflections
