It's too hard to clearly make out what this is, or truly appreciate it, because of the strong angle of the lighting and the somewhat too close position of the camera.
I have to agree with MossyB, don't know how much you can recover in post processing.

Well the sculpture itself is a pretty jumbled, mangled thing. It's based off of Shakespeare's "The Tempest". It was in a garden with a bunch of other statues that were based on other play's and all of them have just a mash of things within them, like this is one of the sailors caught in the storm trying to pull himself from the wreckage. Not sure how I can make it any clearer, this is just a photo of one part of the whole statue, but I like the lines that you can see the chisel may have made.
