I see more of the diamond shapes, rather than a letter. Cropping the excess would help, as it looks more like a 'V' shape with a top, than 'X' shapes joined together...

Nice find, but I guess it needs more cropping. The horizontal bar just above the "letter", somehow spoils the overall effect.

jerostone, thanks for your input. I tried cropping that bar out and thought the resulting composition didn't work. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
