Take a picture of something with a hole in it. The hole must go through the object, so that you can clearly see to the other side. The edges need not be smooth, but the hole must be reasonably round, and cannot have anything covering it, like a screen or glass. The focal point must be the hole, and not the object with the hole in it.
friiskiwi: Do wish you could find better photos to illustrate the contest, for all those who don't read. ( 5 years and 3000 days ago )
friiskiwi: We do need to see through the hole?? ( 5 years and 3000 days ago )
k5683: "so that you can clearly see to the other side." ( 5 years and 3000 days ago )
Artifakts: When it is asked : "The focal point must be the hole, and not the object with the hole in it", does it mean that the edges of the hole avec to be focussed or is it what we see through ? ( 5 years and 3000 days ago )
kathyw: can we have more then one hole ( 5 years and 3000 days ago )
Contest Moderator: kathyw, it can have more than one hole but "The focal point must be the hole, and not the object with the hole in it". Make sure the main focus is on just one hole. ( 5 years and 2996 days ago )

Yes i see it and like it but i would really like any advise as to how to get rid of it in processing. I have a farm shot that is in color but has the same issue. Any help is greatly appreciated that does not involve ps so it is legal in these contests. Thank you.
Author - perhaps you can try the 'strength' slider and drop it down to where the halos disappear. That's the only thing I can think of - like the alumiium texture too.

WOW I like this!
Something I would have done different is: put a small LED light on the right part (such a small pocket light), it will light up that area in blue on your photo which IMHO makes a nice contrast with the green area, but that would be me
Wow this is really great, different and so well done.
Thank you so much! I am kind of testing the waters with this kind of work. Hoping for a lot of feedback and help.
