He looks and acted as if he thinks I did not see him. And was taking a picture of something in the background.
There was a slight breeze, but through the view finder That blade of grass was going from one side of the frame to the next!

Thanks. It was kind of difficult. Holding the camera still with one hand, while holding my arm out and somewhat twisted to get the angle. After a few (several) attempts I finally got him!

You're brave. Just how close did you get to this wasp?

I used the reverse ring method and used a 50mm reversed on a 100mm lens. I was about an inch away from my subject.

Hehehe. The leaf bugs are cute and very docile. Of course they try to fly if you are fast around them but are pretty cool and do blend in sooo well! Ty
