Thanks, it is indeed a pill bug, roly poly or wood louse, but not I believe a potato bug.
It was on a piece of glass over some coloured matter, on it's back trying to right itself. I flipped the image and really liked the way it looks like it's swimming.

It was a traumatic photo shoot indeed! Do moths bite?? I wasn't waiting to find out! It's wings sounded like an eagle's and I think I heard shrieking....The shrieking might have been me...I'm pretty sure it was going for my carotid artery at one point but got tangled in my hair instead...I will never watch Mothman Prophecies again.
