Nice shot !
I think it would be more meaningful placed elsewhere in the picture. Why not trying the rule of third with placing the center of the woodlice in the first third of the photo ?

A common centipede cradling her brood. Found her when digging up an old concrete path in the garden. It goes to show even the creepiest of crawlies can care for their offspring. Taken with my old compact, so not great. (5 years and 2990 days ago)
This is the corpse of a spider I found in our basement. Ugly in that some are uncomfortable with spiders, death, and mold to begin with, yet lovely in the contrast and form they created. (5 years and 2989 days ago)
Wow, I didn't realize it would get moldy like that. I thought they kind of just broke down quickly.

Thanks for the nice comments. I imagine normally they wouldn't get like this, but our basement is not a finished area. It's mainly a hole under the house with some shelves, the water heater, and the fuse box. We don't really go down there very often. It's constantly dark and very cool, even in the summer. I'd guess these conditions led to his preservation in this way.
