The beautiful Butterfly Bush attracts the bee...not just any bee, the ugly carpenter bee. This thing was huge! Think I need to look around my house and make sure he hasn't been "drilling" anywhere. The bush was loaded with them. (5 years and 3031 days ago)

This was an couple of insects i came across when shooting some flowers at the Glasshouse mountains in Queensland, (anyone who can identifiy them, i would appreciate it as i am curious) I saw quite a few and they were all joined. I don't know whether it is mating or what but although they are quite ugly i thought it was lovely how one just led the other to each flower in perfect sync. didn't look to be any conflict on which way to go.
