Capture yourself or your friends in the levitation pose. The shot must be made believable that the person is lifted up. Having a shadow on the ground might help to create realistic levitation image. No photoshopping is allowed in this contest.
Required level: 5+ or higher. Status: finished. Check out the winners below!
kyricom: So how many shots will be people jumping off of something? ( 5 years and 3025 days ago )
friiskiwi: Lots and lots I'm sure, but levitation is not the same as falling or jumping, so I guess it's the photographer who best catches somebody who seems to be floating. Lets hope everybody takes that into consideration when voting. ( 5 years and 3025 days ago )
m0nm0n: is it restricted of persons or it can be other objects !!! ( 5 years and 3025 days ago )
Thanks for all your comments. I hung a black sheet on the wall and put a small black stool underneath it in the corner. Then I hung that wall hanging my son had over it for the background, and put a comforter on the floor with that little stool with the lava lamp and the candle for some depth. Then, my son sat on the stool in the "Lotus position." I did "spot exposure" and underexposed it just a little to make the sheet disappear.
...errrrr, no wait. That's not what I did at all! I walked into the room and found my son levitating so I grabbed my camera! Yeah! THAT WAS IT!!!
The shot goal is to express levitation photo where the main object was trying to get better phone signal when he was floating. Fortunately, the action was supported by the expression of the person behind looking at someone floating (5 years and 3025 days ago)
