karaflazz: I see a lot of photos that whites are blown out.Blown out highlights is NOT high key.
High key technique is a FINE balance between whites & blacks (with whites dominating)& it's really hard to get a good result with out loosing detail.

I took this shot in the studio. Three lights... 2 facing the white backdrop and one bouncing light off of the ceiling to the tank. I had a wireless remote and then it was just a matter of getting the timing right when I dropped the pepper.
