The white balance on your HDR is a bit off - the grayish tones on the back of the guy's jacket is a dead giveaway. You also have a bit too much dead space with all the sidewalk in the foreground, it makes the people "target centered," but not in a very dynamic way. A slight crop would help that.

Great DOF, but it would be nice if the foreground was in a bit more focus

I had one more in focus but I liked the composition of this one better. Sometimes you want things to not look how they appear to the naked eye.
