Nicely backlit photo, I can see the wonderful effect created by the back lighting and well done on the shadow fill for detail, nice entry author

If he was backlit, he wouldn't cast a shadow on the left side... Backlit means the subject is between the camera and the primary light source...

Mossy, the shadow is to the left, but also towards the camera, indicating the subject is between the the light source and the camera. I think I know what i'm talking about here when it comes to the subject of lighting...

Love this shot - if the silhouette can be made totally black by adjusting the contrast level, it might make the photo a bit more standing out
