I tried to delete this image for many times, but whenever it's going to happen, I always stop my action. I just feel that I might not be able to capture similar sky again as well as the lighting nuance
EDITED: I categorised this image as an orphan because of the distracting elements of the road sign and some building at the near bottom edge as the "bad" elements (5 years and 2880 days ago)
This is a rather good photo, so how is one to vote for it?
Like this -- the only unfortunate thing with this is the buildings which with a bit of work in photo shop you could remove -- worth the work but of course then you could not use it in a photo competion
Great perspective - good you kept it!
Great sky and love the light on the tree.
I'm not sure how this is an orphan photo. What's wrong with it? Not saying it isn't, just that I don't see how you think it is.
@MnMCarta: As Alan2641 mentioned above, the background (on the lower right side) are a bit cluttered, and the arrow sign just to the left of the tree is a little bit "distracting". I was hoping that I can shot similar scene (especially the sky) with the cleaner background and with 1 (one) tree only That's why I really want to delete the photo but just can't for the sky reason. I thought, I might be able to use the sky for another shot (in Photoshop manipulation)
You do realize you can edit out all that junk. This photo is an amazing shot, and I really don't think that it fit the theme because it CAN be fixed. I interpreted the theme as photos you really like that you just can't really do anything with, but you still like
@dem90: I'm grateful for your feedback and really appreciate it. IMHO, I have this photo as an orphan because technically, it's not a shot that I'm after when I 1st captured it but I will not be able to recapture the same feeling again due to uncontrollable sky and lighting. Of course in term of editing, we will always be able to fix the image no matter how bad it is. But again, that's interpretation to this theme. If this image is truly off theme image, I will leave the the moderator to decide
Congratulations for having the best 'bad' photo, LOL
Lol, thanks Friiskiwi
