Lovely composition and everything, the only thing bad I can say about this photo is it seems a little on the gray side, you might want to increase the contrast. It looks like you're blacks aren't really blacks.

Thanks dem90 I think it depends a bit on the monitor whether it was visible what you meant. Changed it a bit with "levels" should be better now.

I love it now! I don't know if it was my monitor or not, but I like the depth of the black a lot better in this version

i should have keept my old singer from my grandmother, I remember the day i took it in my home and opened up the wooden housing of it with the little key that came with it. I took the housing off and saw the pincushion that was attached onto the floor near the machine was completely turned to dust on its own lol. that showed me what time can do. I was 19 years old or so, I dont have the machine anymore unfortunately I had mouse in my old house and they completely ruined it. It got all rusty and the housing was chewed thru and falling appart, I still have the key though . Nice image

Thanks everyone^_^ Friiskiwi, I'll play around with some different compositions then, and MnMCarta, it was just legal notes, they really weren't letters. it looks like whoever owned the trunk originally was some kind of legal attorney, but reading what was left of them was pretty interesting. I have to be extra careful handling them, I've destroyed 2 pages already on accident

lmao would they even still have film for that camera for sale? nice shot, i love the picture album behind it, assuming they are the pictures taken with that camera I dont know how the original look like in crop but I think it might be looking nicer if the camera has a little more space below the image. a little wider crop at the bottom would be nice i think.

Yes photos in album was taken with the camera over 40 years ago.
