Nice capture with a curiously entertaining angle and subject. Some feathers on the top of the head are a little hot from the direct sunlight. but a fine capture just the same.

I like the contrast, but the lines and angles really make this shot...well done on the crop and composition author. In a contest with so many entries it's difficult to get a shot that stands out. Wonderful work author.

Excellent depth of field here. The clarity, cropping and pose of your subject are of the highest quality. I'm not usually a fan of centering the subject, but in some cases, throwing that rule out the window works. This is one of those cases. Your low angle gives this proud bird the stature it's trying to portray with it's stance.

Nice capture!

Nicely poised. I thought the ball of it's head and left wind as we are looking at it seemed a bit hot (over-exposed), but that's difficult to control in bright sunlight while still maintaining the contrast of the shaded areas.
