The tip of a Wooly Mammoth tusk (prehistoric ivory is legal) inlaid with Mexican Fire Opal. The inlay was purposefully made a little crude so it might suggest something early man might have done. (5 years and 2873 days ago)

kyricom- thank you...I will play and see if I can get it with a little deeper DOF. I love the larimar and as you can see have begun my own collection. I have also worked with it in my jewelry creations. Gorgeous stone and I love the feel of it as well.
