Motor racing is the subject of motorsport activities which involve competitors racing against each other. Forms of motor racing include: auto racing, motorcycle racing, air racing, boat racing, snowmobile racing, hovercraft racing, truck racing,lawn mower racing etc. Other Motorsport like drifting, motorcycle trials, freestyle motocross etc will be classed as off topic ,as they are not classed as racing. This was taken at the Sandown Historic Racing Champs 2011. The driver is making his way to the track to race. He is aged beyond 80 years old (that's all he would give us!) and unlike every other competitor that day (who arrive in their transporter trucks laden with gear) he drives to and from the race meetings in this car and takes only a small toolbox for repairs.
