jerostone: How about rolling sea waves? ( 5 years and 2804 days ago )
friiskiwi: I assume that would be OK too, s long as the exposure is long enough to make the water silky smooth ( 5 years and 2804 days ago )
jerostone: Thank you, Vibeke, 'cause where I live, no rivers, no streams, at least not ones worth mentioning off, so what's left is the sea and maybe my bathtub! ( 5 years and 2804 days ago )
Contest Moderator: Vibeke is correct, any natural water source is on topic as long as the exposure is adequate to produce a silky effect, ( 5 years and 2803 days ago )

OOOh! I wish that I had one of those. What a great photo. Please give us more details on the new filter. I would like to know.
author says:
ND filters, neutral density filter, is really just a filter with a neutral grey colour. which will decrease the amount on light and consequently force you to increase exposure time. They come in ND2, ND4, ND8 reducing the light by 1-2 or 3 stops. You can also get gradual ND filters, which is great for reducing the amount of light in the sky.
The Groudle River and 'The Little Isabella' Waterwheel in Groudle Glen.
(The Waterwheel was originally built in 1895 to pump water up to the hotel nearby and later used to power the fairy lights in the Glen.) (5 years and 2802 days ago)
