Bricks 2 - Photography Contest [43 entries]
Contest goal:
Take an artistic photo of a brick or multiple bricks. There can be other items in your photo but the focus must be on the bricks and it must take up at least 75% of the photo. Your shot can be one brick or many bricks (eg. a wall) or just a portion of a brick. Keep in mind, there is a difference between block and brick.

WYSIWYG: For me its clear a brick is made of clay and hardened in an oven or in the sun. ( 5 years and 2819 days ago )

A brick is smaller and usually made of a clay composite. A block is larger and most often made of concrete and cinder. Bricks are meant to be seen as decorative as well as functional, blocks are mostly utilitarian and functional.

WYSIWYG: next to the discussion of what is a brick, I see a lot of pictures not covering 75% with bricks!

Contest Moderator: We will not be splitting hairs regarding the 75% coverage of bricks. If a large portion of the image has bricks then it will be allowed. ( 5 years and 2812 days ago )
