Beautiful, but could we please have some more information on why this is a weed

Yes i will tomorrow i have a more backed up pic of them. Not sure what its called though but each summer we pull them out of the edges of the woods. Lol

why do you feel they are weeds?

Moderator- because they grow everywhere in our area but are not a garden flower. They are pretty invasive and are not something that is planted...they pollenate and spread. LOL. ...everywhere. Thus a weed, a flowering weed.
These were on a back dirt road, no houses anywhere but had taken over everything...I have seen them near swamps as well.

I can't understand why... their yellow flowers are very cheeful and delicate, and I heard that in France they cultivate them to eat.
