This is one of my first time taking photos of water droplets, and I've never really seen anything that looks like this. I've asked some of my physic major friends why the splash looks like that, and the only conclusion we came up with was that that part of the splash was moving faster than the camera could capture. Seeing as I was shooting with a shutter speed of 1/2000, I was kinda shocked. (5 years and 2892 days ago)

Very cool shot - I appreciate how difficult these are as I'm an International gymnastics judge and Senior coach. Pity there isn't more blurring going on in the shot. Frustrating we're not really allowed to take photos in GBR. Maybe see if you can slow the shutter speed just a little to create more motion blur. Well done
