lephant: symbol of wisdom, luck, loyalty

The elephant attains old age and with it, wisdom. They are highly revered for their strength and power.

The white elephant was chosen by Buddha as one of his many incarnations. White elephants are rare and their appearance is still today considered a phenomenon of the gods.

The elephant is probably the most positive animal symbol known. Here are some of the many lessons we can learn from the elephant:

Strong sense of loyalty to the family
Intelligence .To the Hindu way of thought, the elephant is found in the form of Ganesha who is the god of luck, fortune, protection and is a blessing upon all new projects.

Some believe that the only way an elephant can mean good luck is if their trunks are facing up. This is not necessarily true, in Thailand it is the Elephant that brings luck regardless of the trunks position.
