We have had macro and panorama macro... now how about "focus stacking macro"? Take several images (at least 4 or more) of a small object using different focus point and then stitch them together into one image with a full focus range.
A Macro of 1:1 or larger would really show the effect of using stacking. Post your images in a SBS.
Contest Moderator: Folks please read the rules. I am also attaching a link to where you can get a better explanation of what "focus stacking" is and how to achieve this goal. http://digital-photography-school.com/an-introduction-to-focus-stacking ( 5 years and 2824 days ago )
audreyj: ...and this is why I like pxleyes. The theme description was/is a foreign language to me. Now I'm researching macro/stacking/tubes/rings etc and am almost ready to hit the camera store ( 5 years and 2818 days ago )
captgeo: Glad to hear it..... Hope you have fun with it. ( 5 years and 2818 days ago )
