A favorite place of mine to shoot waterfalls...Bushkill Falls. A long winding place through the beautiful mountain trails with over 9 falls over a 10 mile trail. Not for the weak or faint of heart, some of these trails are very rough, especially lugging around camera gear and a tripod!
1. The welcome tower before the trail-head...our trip starts here...
2. The main falls...largest of the bunch.
3. One of the many, many small falls along the path...
4. Maiden falls, about 2km up the trail...
5. Bridal Veil Falls, just north of Maiden, another km or so...
6. Bridal Falls, 2 km away from the Main Falls...
There are many other falls here and much to see, but, we are limited to only 6 photos this time...LOL (5 years and 2714 days ago)
Very nice, I like that you have the views and the close ups of this beautiful place =)
Thank you! I debated on which photos to include, i always have a lot. I thought both scenes were impressive so I felt it was important to include the 2 views.
Very beautiful Author, wonderful place from all the photos I've seen, hopefully I can get a few days there to spend myself someday...
Nice mix of overall and detail shots....very important...great exposures and inclusion of other people since this is a rather popular area in the US.
My only (rather nit-picky) suggestion is...maybe a small border between the images so they don't "mush" together? Thats just a personal preference though...Nicely Done
Thank for the comment and the suggestion. I agree that borders would have been better. For some reason i was thinking I couldn't use borders. I usually try not to look at the other entries until I submit my own, i don't want to be influenced. By the time I saw this it was too late to change it. Thanks again for the nice comment, Its always flattering to receive a comment from one of the top photographers on this site.
...thank YOU!, but...simply put, good work IS good work, you did VERY well here...congrats!
EDIT: The borders don't seem as important here in this image on second thought, as the colors (blue/brown) tend to create a decent separation of the images...
Congrats
