If you cropped the bottom and right off, bringing the focus solely onto the stairs, this would be a much more powerful image.

Funny, I didn't even notice the landing on the right. I rotated the image a bit, which also straightened out the bottom with the bench. I also adjusted the shadows a bit to help bring down the contrast of the sunlight. Thanks for the tips.
