A famous saying in photography is 'a picture is worth a thousand words'. In this contest it is the challenge to photograph 1 word (nothing more and nothing less) and let that 1 word speak for a thousand.
The word can be anywhere and on everything and is more powerful if it tells something about the photo itself. The word does not have to be in English, any language is allowed, but if you do not use an English word you must post the translation of it into English.
Status: finished. Check out the winners below!

ummm... what's the "O?" It wouldn't be a partially covered "10" because the "1" would be on the other side from that angle

I would like to show you how I achieved this and have some images to teach you how but I can't edit my entry for some reason.
I scratched out the offending lines that I don't want. Using the pointy end of my scalpel blade - You have to do it lightly so that you don't have the middle of the card show through the surface. Then clean up the marks using the spot removal/healing brush.
(note: I tried to add an SBS for everyone to show how it is achieved but my entry wouldn't allow me to edit) if you are really interested I will try and add it into my portfolio - not sure if this allows SBS but I'll figure something)
